Community Medical Centers of Fresno, CA is Hiring a Project Manager, Planning and Construction Near Fresno, CA

Overview

*All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA*

We are looking for a passionate Project Manager to join our growing planning and construction team! In your role, you will be responsible for managing the design and construction of medical office space to support the growth of Community Health Partners and other Community Health System strategic developments outside of the hospital. You will facilitate vision, leadership and oversight of new and remodeling projects, while regarding the status of the project and the impact to all affected areas. 

The Community Health System is a locally owned, not-for-profit, public-benefit organization based in Fresno, California. Community is the region's largest healthcare provider and private employer. We operate a physician residency program with one of the nation's top medical schools – the University of California, San Francisco.

We are home to the only Level 1 Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center between Los Angeles and Sacramento and also serve as the area's "safety net provider." In fiscal year 2020, Community provided nearly $175 million in uncompensated services and programs.

Responsibilities

In your role, you will: 

  • Manage multiple projects slated for construction or remodel.
  • Develop and manage schedules for individual projects. Schedules the critical relocation of departments and patients.
  • Work with Community staff and consultants in identifying facility needs.
  • Acts as representative of Community in negotiating and administrating contracts for services and construction.

Qualifications

Education• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or Health Care related field required• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and 8 years of related experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree and experience requirement Experience• 3 years of Project Management experience required• Experience in healthcare and/or at-risk construction preferred• Membership in a professional organization preferred Licenses and Certifications• PMP - Project Management Professional Certification preferred• OSHPD Class A Certification preferred
