Community Medical Centers Inc is Hiring a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II Near Stockton, CA

Job Location: CMC - Administration - Stockton, CA
Salary Range: $20.50 - $23.63 Hourly

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the maintenance of corporate facilities and other tasks as needed. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Tech Supervisor. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment
  • Three (3) years’ experience with progressively increased responsibilities, making repairs to equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, painting, and ground keeping with independent judgement
  • HVAC maintenance knowledge is preferred 
  • Valid California driver's license, proof of insurance, and personal transportation

Qualifications


SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  • Adhere to Maintenance Technician’s Daily Schedule
  • Open and close clinic as needed
  • Maintain grounds; trimming bushes, trees, weed ground cover, and wash down entryways
  • Complete various plumbing repairs
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Drywall repairs, patching and texturing
  • Replace light bulbs, switches, plugs, ballast, and conduct other electrical repairs
  • Attend to various miscellaneous errands, deliveriesdeliveries, and pick-ups
  • Complete Maintenance Request forms as directed
  • Dispose trash
  • Review and complete matters indicated on Maintenance Request Forms as directed
  • Receive, store, or deliver shipments (UPS, Fed-X, supplies, etc.)
  • Replenish water dispenser bottles as needed
  • Assemble furniture/cabinets etc. 
  • Assemble and install medical equipment 
  • Able to operate all power and hand tools required to complete tasks
  • General maintenance of facilities or other areas as assigned
  • Remove and replace door knobsdoorknobs and hardware 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Process HVAC maintenance as assigned 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of building maintenance concepts
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
  • Skill in manual and finger dexterity
  • Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff and vendors
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Listens skillfully and displays a willingness and ability to acknowledge the needs, expectations, and values of others through the use ofusing reflective listening and empathy conveyance. Responds to needs in ways that are helpful and beyond expectation.
  • Communicate effectively by using welcoming words, proper tone of voice, appropriate body language, eye contact and smiling with every interaction.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service that is reflective of a culture that values trust and respect.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Prolonged walking or standing, repeated stooping, squat¬ting, stretching, climbing of ladders. Requires eye-hand coordination in utilizing equipment and tools. Frequent lifting and carrying materials up to 65 pounds. Fine manual dexterity necessary to repair or replace fine compo¬nents. Ability to work under high stress conditions, keeping irregular hours. Requires exposure to communicable diseases and body fluids.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
On-site work area environment. Frequent exposure to mechani¬cal and electrical hazards. Occasional evening or weekend work.
