Communications Manager (Full-time)

The Communications Manager executes all marketing and communications for an award-winning dynamic nonprofit that provides homeless, mental health, and substance abuse services in Monterey County. Must have excellent written, verbal and visual communications skills and experience.

Responsible for press releases, public service announcements, email newsletters, fliers, brochures, annual report, print & digital advertising, media buys, direct mail, social media posts, updating agency website and more. Graphic design experience required.

Must possess broad knowledge of current marketing strategies and best practices and have experience with design programs like Adobe and Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite, and email newsletter programs. Experience in a development office and with CRM databases, particularly Bloomerang, strongly desired.

Candidates should have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, be capable of thinking creatively and analytically, manage time effectively, and work well with a variety of people.

Experience with photo and video editing, digital advertising, development communications, and an understanding of current marketing best practices are strongly desired.

Bachelor’s degree required, plus two years of marketing communications experience, or five years of marketing communications experience. Prefer English-Spanish bilingual.

Salary $70,172 - $85,294 depending on experience 5% bilingual stipend. Generous benefits package including 100% paid medical, dental and vision coverage for employee, paid sick, vacation and holidays. EOE.
