Job scope: Responsible for proposing and implementing projects toachieve the business purposes listed in the Center's strategic objectives as well as managing a complex array of evolving stateand Federal funding methodologies supporting over sixty different programsserving over 17,000 people a year.. The Director,Business Operations is responsible for the day-to-day business operations ofthe Center, maintenance of complete and accurate fiscal records, audit, InformationTechnology, Quality and Risk Management, Corporate Compliance, HIPAA,compliance Contracts Management, RecordsManagement, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Local IDD Authorityrequirements.. Works with national andstate MH and IDD advocacy groups, and other local, state, or national agenciesor organizations that have an interest in, or impact upon the delivery ofcommunity-based mental health, primary health, intellectual and developmentaldisabilities, substance use disorders, and competitive grant services.
Education/licensure: Minimum requirement of Bachelor's level degreeor comparable experience with degree in business or public administration,social work, social science, or closely related field preferred. Master's degree and Certified PublicAccountant or Certified Government Financial Manager preferred. Current validdriver's license in state of residence.
Experience/Knowledge: Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in anadministrative or managerial role. Community Center, Federally Qualified Health Center or other relatedhealth industry experience preferred. Extensive administration and employee relations background preferred.Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualificationsessential to the performance of the job:
Mobility, ability to readand comprehend complicated information, ability to make internal and externalpresentations.
