Base starting pay: $16.00/hour

Housing Specialists provide support to residents by working with them, the clinical team and other recovery support staff to identify needs and facilitate connection to community resources and supports and aid in the facilitation of safe supportive recovery housing environments. The Housing Specialist promotes healthy sober activities and monitors the safety and physical operations of Recovery Housing facilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Actively provides assistance and supports to residents of recovery housing facilities to promote sustained recovery.
  • Monitors recovery housing facilities to ensure resident compliance with program rules.
  • Conducts apartment and facility searches to ensure the safety and security of the facilities.
  • Facilitates linkages for the use of community resources.
  • Assists residents in managing conflict and solving problems.
  • Organizes and facilitates resident activities.
  • Monitors residents’ engagement in treatment services and coordinates services with the treatment team.
  • Assists clients in accessing self-help support groups and increasing social support networks.
  • Provides appropriate interventions to aid clients in the restoration of daily living skills.
  • Coordinates and assist in crisis management and stabilization.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and insurable driving record required.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Related experience or training with behavioral health conditions
