Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana is Hiring a Lead Nursing Assistant Near Crown Point, IN
The Lead Nursing Assistant educator develops and implements nursing assistant training techniques designed to improve training programs. Functions as a Nursing Assistant Training course instructor. Makes decisions related to staff development based on identified needs. Also functions in the role assisting patient care and performs various designated patient care activities necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort and safety of the patient in accordance with Hospital Policy and Nursing Service Standards
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduation or equivalency. Or must have completed a Nursing Assistant program.
- Five years direct patient care experience with successful completion of competency exam, completion of completion of nursing assistant certification required.
- BLS certification recommended.
- Completes annual skill validations as well as safety and infection control procedures.
- Previous experience as a preceptor required
