COMMUNITY FIRST CREDIT UNION OF FLORIDA is Hiring a Branch MSR I - St. Johns Near Saint Augustine, FL

Role:
To become a trusted financial advisor to our members by identifying opportunities to foster and expand the member’s relationship with Community First. Through the interview process identify products and/or services that would benefit the member. Educates and effectively offers appropriate products and/or services enhancing the member experience.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Opens new products and services while following appropriate procedures to verify personal identification. Processes various types of consumer and business loan applications. Performs account maintenance, which includes but is not limited to: changes to members personal information such as address and telephone numbers, name changes due to marriage, divorce, etc., adding and removing joint members, check ordering and issuing temporary checks and assists with Internet Banking enrollment. Performs Teller Transactions as required.
Effectively interviews members and potential members. Asks questions and listens carefully to determine the appropriate products and services to offer. Presents products and services in a positive, professional and knowledgeable manner, so inquiring individuals can make an informed decision.
Continually increasing knowledge to answer members questions and resolves member problems; refers problems that are beyond their authority.
Makes outbound calls for onboarding new members and developing opportunities for improving relationships between members and the credit union. Consistently meets or exceeds sales and quality goals.
Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience
A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A high school degree or equivalent
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.

Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions independently and with limited supervision. Must work effectively as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic financial calculations with accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under stress of deadline, requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on confidential matters.
