Job Summary
The Communities in Schools of Georgia Information Technology Manager will utilize their technological skills to create organizational efficiencies and will analyze current systems and assets to recommend and implement solutions and upgrades for the organization. They will provide training, network maintenance, and utilize advanced industry knowledge to keep the organization on the cutting edge.
Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Technology Infrastructure
· Plan, implement and manage the technological infrastructure for the organization.
· Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT systems, policies, and procedures.
· Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
· Purchase, deploy and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals (such as servers, backup devices, firewalls and network equipment) for the organization.
· Maintain inventory and track organizational physical assets.
· Maintain office network for internet, data, and voice services.
· Provide in person or remote technical assistance and computer maintenance as needed for CIS of Georgia.
· Deploy and maintain network devices to laptops, printers, and copiers.
· Make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
Microsoft Modern Workplace Solutions:
· Administer Microsoft Modern Workplace Solutions for the organization, including Microsoft 365, security and identity, Microsoft Teams, and integration of business analytic tools.
· Maintain the CIS of Georgia network email distribution lists, SharePoint and Teams.
· Provide Microsoft training and technical support to promote collaboration and information and enhance workforce productivity while maintaining security within our organization and network.
· Conduct backups, cleaning of SharePoint and archiving of files.
· Ensure security management, identity and access management and information threat protections.
Voice and ISP Systems
· Serve as point of contact with VOIP and ISP providers.
· Administer VOIP phone systems and voicemail for the organization.
· Maintain and troubleshoot phone system as needed.
· Maintain and administer wireless access points and internet security.
Support of other Technology Services
· Administer My CIS Community Accounts
· Support use of other cloud-based services used by departments such as SAGE Intaact, Cognitoforms and Kintone, remote access services, and CISDM.
· Assist with website as needed.
Other:
· Attend meetings, events, conferences, trainings, etc. as requested by CIS of Georgia
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Experience
· Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
· Experience in managing a Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID and Intune.
· Ability to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain both wired and wireless networks.
· Experience with Implementing and monitoring security measures, handling breaches, and conducting regular vulnerability assessments.
· Ability to manage projects and third-party providers for services or solutions.
· BS in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field preferred.
· Experience with Business analytics such as Microsoft Power BI Pro desirable.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
· Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
