This Direct Care Staff Training is approved through the Dept. of Social Services for Assisted Living Facilities.

TRAINING PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Hours: This is a hybrid model course that includes 40 hours of classroom setting training and 20 hours of hands-on training.

Do you love being a caregiver and have a sincere passion for working with seniors? This team cares for our residents in a number of ways including personal needs, grooming and hygiene, laundering, social interactions, and meals. The main objective of this position is to possess a big heart and a need to serve while you monitor the residents’ comfort and respond to their physical and emotional needs.

Commonwealth Senior Living, in partnership with Argentum and Hamilton-Ryker, has joined the mission to grow our healthcare workforce in partnership through the Healthcare Apprenticeship Expansion Program (HAEP). This program helps address the skills gap in the healthcare industry by growing a strong network of associates with industry-identified needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or GED
