Commonwealth Pa is Hiring a Marketing Analyst 1 Near UNKNOWN, PA

THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB), one of the country’s largest retailers of wines and spirits, is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Analyst for our Advertising & Promotions Division. This division, within our Marketing Department, advertises and promotes our retail brand, Fine Wine & Good Spirits, products and educates our customers about wine and spirits.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graphic designer to join our growing team that produces fresh designs for print, eye-catching digital graphics for social media and online, and edits images using Adobe Create Suite (primarily InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator). In addition, our ideal candidate will help to draft ad copy, develop promotional concepts, participate in strategy sessions with the creative team and review campaign results to better inform our advertising efforts. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a one-hour lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, but in-office attendance may be required as operational needs dictate. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Successful completion of the PLCB Marketing Analyst Trainee training program; or
  • One year of professional marketing, advertising, or merchandising experience and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:
  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
