Job Duties

To maintain a consistent and timely customer order entry process and assist customers with product selection within the furniture industries as required. Responsibilities include managing incoming inquiries from customers requesting timely updates on project status and executing proactive outbound communications via telephone and email as circumstances warrant.

Minimum Qualifications

Advanced skillset in using Microsoft Office software to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and keyboarding techniques with minimal errors. Ability to effectively cross-train in multiple areas of Customer Service. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral communications. Ability to maintain attention to detail, provide empathy, listen actively to resolve problems, and multi-task effectively. High School diploma or GED required. Prior administrative experience in an office and/or manufacturing environment.

Additional Considerations

Experience working in an active customer service environment to improve customer experiences and build customer loyalty. Experience with a computerized inventory control system or ERP/MRP system.
