Job Duties

***$1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS***
What a typical day looks like:
The Food Services Distribution Worker safely and efficiently delivers meals and other food service products for consumption by the patients/individuals at Central State Hospital and Hiram W. Davis Medical Center.

Minimum Qualifications

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Valid Virginia drivers license and
The ability to operate trucks and vans used in distribution of patient meals and supplies
Knowledge of safe driving principals and/or techniques.
Knowledge of safe food handling practices (receiving, storage, preparation, etc.)
The ability to load and secure cargo, perform manual labor and tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting up to 70 pounds.
Experience or ability to follow patient tray meal schedules.

Additional Considerations

We’re excited if you also have:
Experience working in a large food service operation and driving a commercial truck is also preferred
Food service experience and/or serve safe certification
