DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will receive, maintain, and distribute inventory within the warehouse and commissary area of the prison.

The stock clerk receives and inspects stock from vendors. You will process inmate commissary orders, verify their account balance, and distribute the orders.

You will also provide training and work assignments to inmates. An additional duty will be maintaining adequate inventory by conducting periodic inventory audits and ensuring it is stored properly.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
• Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note : Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,664.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :

• One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements :

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

You must pass a background investigation.
