The Department of Human Services, Danville State Hospital, provides dedicated, high-quality care to people who call Danville State Hospital home. We are seeking hard-working, enthusiastic, compassionate, and caring individuals who are committed to providing exceptional care to our consumers.
You will provide direct nursing care and treatment services, which includes recording and reporting vital signs, symptoms, and reactions or responses to medication/treatments; accurately complying with medication administration policy and completion of physicians' orders; and assisting patients with ADLs, skin care, room care, mealtimes, and other associated nursing care techniques. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on improving individuals' mental health and quality of life by providing care during their mental health recovery. Duties are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
