EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this role, you will supervise a multidisciplinary team comprised of scientific researchers, specialists, consultants, quality improvement specialists, program and project managers, as well as ancillary staff, who evaluate information and produce reports using available data to review healthcare facility infection control plans for compliance, lead antimicrobial stewardship initiatives, oversee HAI-related projects, and supervise staff who oversee activities related to the HAIP Division. You will support the development of statewide plans, policies, and procedures for epidemiology, disease control, and related issues; manage the design and development of epidemiological database activities for assigned statewide public health programs; and coordinate statewide programs for preventive medicine, public health education, and other public health services within epidemiological program areas.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
