EKVC is operated by the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs and was built for the sole purpose of taking care of Kentucky Veterans.
The Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center is looking for a self- motivated, energetic Registered Nurse who possess the skills, knowledge, and desire to care for Kentucky Veterans using a holistic nursing approach consistent with current standards of nursing practice.
Skills and expectations for this position include but are not limited to:
- Providing direct care to assigned residents, including ADL's,
- Medication administration and treatments
- Assesses patient conditions.
- Plans and provides interventions
- Evaluates the care for residents.
This position has an approved Locality Premium of $13.30, based on the organizational structure and work county it is currently assigned to, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
