Job Summary:
The RN is responsible for providing skilled nursing care during the pre and post catheterization period. This includes proper patient evaluation and preparation and monitoring of patient pre and post procedure. This position will not be required to work in the cath lab procedural areas.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from an accredited program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Active RN license in the state of KY or compact license. BLS required. ACLS certification preferred within 3 months not to exceed 6 months from date of employment. EKG recognition class required prior to completion of orientation.
EXPERIENCE: One year Critical Care or Telemetry experience preferred.
