Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of a primary care physician to perform primary medical obstetrical and pediatric care to adult geriatric adolescent and pediatric patients. Performs routine medical examinations of adult geriatric adolescent and pediatric patients. Diagnose common medical conditions educate and counsel patients regarding their physical health in a family practice clinic and perform related clinical duties.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license AND certification as a Nurse Practitioner with the state of California.
  • National Certification within one year of employment and kept current
  • Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
  • Furnishing License within 1 year of hire and able to supply schedule II medications

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
