PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Administers the disciplinary process to include: Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), Suspensions, Terminations, and other Disciplinary ActionsManage all Suspensions, PIPs, and Investigations, including tracking and maintenance throughout the investigation process until resolutionConducts all Investigations related to complaints, disciplinary action, and other Employee Relations issues, including hosting meetings, interviews, and developing resolutions for each type of caseProvides counseling and assistance to employees and management in employee or management issues guided by the company policies and current labor law regulationsFacilitates disciplinary action and/or resolutions with the departments per the investigation outcomeResponsible for processing and administrating Unemployment ClaimsResponsible for routing Employee Relations documents and other HR correspondence to the appropriate partiesAssists with Employee Related events such as Anniversary/Christmas Parties, Gift Cards, Rewards and Recognition Programs, etc. Works with Payroll in facilitating the processing of final checks and preparation of exit packetsCoordinates the approvals and processing of HRIS termination entriesAs needed, assists with the administration of workers’ compensation claims, investigation, audits, and general reporting on work related injuries As needed, assists the Human Resources Coordinator – Leave Administration with processing Leaves, facilitating leave correspondence, conducting the interactive process and issuing accommodation memos Provides back-up coverage for other Human Resources team members Assists with other duties and projects as assignedQUALIFICATIONS Work Experience Required: Minimum of two years of experience working in a Human Resources function or within a Human Resources department; basic knowledge of Employee Relations. Solid generalist experience preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
