We are currently looking for a Sr. Pre-Construction Estimator for our Estimating Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze narratives, blueprints, project front ends, specifications, and proposals to prepare material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost budgets for prospective projects to set GMP or analyze project feasibility.
• Prepare and give presentations to prospective clients.
• Visit contractors, engineers, and architects to promote business development.
• Knowledge of Quick Pen and or TSI estimating software.
• Knowledge of MS Office products.
• Understanding of the HVAC/Plumbing industry inclusive the following:
  • Local/National Codes and Standards for HVAC, Piping/Plumbing systems.
  • Labor and material costs associated with the HVAC, Piping/Plumbing industry inclusive of SMACNA and MCAA labor standards.
• Knowledge of estimating HVAC/ Plumbing systems and have an estimating understanding of the opposite trade.
• Ability to prepare HVAC/Plumbing Budgets.
• Ability to calculate costs associated in preparing and utilizing square foot budgets.
• Prepare estimates and proposals and assist in procuring submittals.
• Follow up with clients on all bids and bid results.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as project specifications, project front ends, and project contracts.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
