Comfort Systems Mid South is Hiring a Mechanical Construction Project Manager Near Montgomery, AL
- Develop and manage project schedules for members of our team
- Create and maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, RFI’s & change orders
- Works well with other co-workers
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract documents
- Manage project risks and develop contingency plans as necessary
- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that project requirements are met
- Supervise and manage project personnel, including field personnel and subcontractors
- Ensure that project safety standards are met and that all personnel are trained and equipped to work safely
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
- Resolve project issues and conflicts as they arise
- Be responsible for all job accounting and financial records on each project managed
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction project management
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards
- Estimating experience is a plus
- Microsoft skills (excel, word etc..)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with Pro Core is a plus
- Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
