We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hospitality management and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

The Front Desk Manager will be responsible for the successful operation and administration of all front office tasks including the success of the front desk, ensuring guest satisfaction, and for managing all areas of the hotel according to Brand standards. We are seeking an energetic, service-oriented leader who can effectively direct, train, coach, motivate, and provide feedback to the front office team, supervisors and managers on a daily basis.

Essential Job Functions:

• Personally demonstrates a commitment to excellence, ensuring every guest is satisfied and driving a team culture that others want to be a part of
• Ensures all front desk hotel team members, including new hires, know all components of guest services and are trained to meet standards, solving problems, and offering service recovery as needed for guest satisfaction
• Scheduling of team to ensure all shifts are covered
• Ensure correct and accurate cash handling at the front desk
• Follow and enforce all hotel credit policies
• Establish and maintain key control
• Review all shift work for completion and accuracy as well as the reports generated by night audit
• Ensure continuous improvement meetings are taking place with the front desk team as well as attending management leadership meetings
• Take proactive approach when dealing with associate concerns
• Make sure staffing levels are appropriate to exceed guest expectations
• Works with the General Manager and Sales Team to generate new business ideas to increase sales, set up rate codes and input rooming lists

Maintains a positive, cooperative work environment between all departments

• Meets or exceeds hotel guest satisfaction goals and adheres to brand standard expectations
• Acts as manager on duty for hotel and manages front desk operations
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a front desk or hotel management role
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
• Proficiency in Choice Advantage
