Comfort Research is Hiring a Customer Care Intern Near Grand Rapids, MI

Description

Comfort Research is looking for a Customer Care intern to join our Sales team! This internship is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and work for an awesome organization. If you are pursuing a career in Customer Service and looking to apply your knowledge, this opportunity is for you!

As the Customer Care Ambassador, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless order processing, exceptional customer service, and efficient financial transactions. Your daily actions and interactions will reflect Comfort Research’s Core Values, driving customer loyalty and business growth. 

POSITION DETAILS

  • This position is a paid internship, starting at $15/hour.
  • Full-time (40 hours per week), seasonal employment during the summer.
  • Part-time hours after summer, depending on availability during the school year.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Demonstrate the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with others.
  • Maintain accurate product knowledge to answer customer inquiries effectively. 
  • Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash loop, including customer portals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve any order-to-cash issues promptly.
  • Verify customer orders in the ERP system and ensure timely invoice generation.
  • Assist with process optimization to enhance overall customer service.
  • Monitor and analyze order volume data, adjusting discrepancies and proactively addressing issues.
  • Report on late orders and create action plans for resolution.
  • Work closely with scheduling to meet production metrics for on-time shipping.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to prepare for large orders.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and establish a positive rapport with customers.
  • Partner with automation services to improve customer support automation.
  • Build financial justifications for investments aligned with company strategic objectives.
  • Emphasize project management and process control.
  • Manage returns/replacements and track reasons.
  • Support eCommerce and Sales teams in shared goals and initiatives.
