Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In Home Caregivers. As an In Home Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up - Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation needs - Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: - Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred - Knowledge of nursing home procedures and protocols is a plus - Ability to work with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals - Familiarity with social work principles and practices is beneficial - First aid certification is required; CPR certification is a plus - Ability to learn and navigate electronic systems, including HIPAA compliance - Physical ability to lift and assist clients as needed We offer competitive pay rates for In Home Caregivers.
