Qualifications of the Director of Nursing (DON):

• Bachelor's degree in nursing 
• At least 3 years of performing nurse duties with progressive administrative experience.
• Experience maintaining team performance to meet MDH 144A
• Current, unencumbered Minnesota license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Clean driving record

Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing (DON):

·Supervises the delivery of professional nursing and nurse-delegated services offered by the agency.

· Develop service policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state health statutes, administrative regulations, CKFI contractual obligations, and recommended guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These guidelines cover safety, universal precautions, and infection control procedures.

·Provides case management services to ensure efficient coordination of care.

·Supports the company in achieving its performance objectives.

·Manages the nursing schedule to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.

·Provides hands-on patient care as needed and serves as a backup for the team, handling a limited number of cases as required.
