JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a high-energy, outgoing, and detail-oriented individual to greet our guests with a smile and prepare them a delicious buffet-style breakfast on the weekends! At the Comfort Inn & Suites at Mt. Pocono, we onboard people who take pride in their work and who want to make a positive impact in the workplace and on their team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Physically capable of standing for long hours
• Ability to read, write and speak English language
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. Early morning hours are required, 6:00am-Noon

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare hot breakfast items for guests and sustain appropriate portions available for a buffet style breakfast area to minimize wait times while minimizing food waste
• Sustains consistent high quality of food preparation and service
• Keeps additional food and beverage items well-stocked throughout the day to maximize guest satisfaction
• Maintains full control of food and beverage workspace and its contents at all times using prevention techniques as per company to minimize loss
• Maintains a high standard of cleanliness in kitchen, breakfast area, and dining area
• Cleans in accordance with Choice Brand Standards and PA Department of Agriculture Regulations
• Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to assure workers, guests, suppliers/contractors and the environment are not at risk
• Complies with all company safety policies, procedures and instructions
• Uses materials handling procedures and equipment provided to minimize contamination or injury
• Reports to management any unsafe practice or conditions
• Takes inventory of items, removing expired items, and preparing food orders
• Helps other team members in their duties and assists new associates in learning their new job skills
• Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Keeps professional image by maintaining proper uniform and appearance standards
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
