Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accuracy of information and proper payment procedures
- Assist with reservations, including taking phone reservations and inputting them into the system
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and front desk operations
- Familiarity with hotel phone systems and reservation software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset for effective communication with diverse guests
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
