ComForCare of New York City is a companion care agency serving Manhattan, Northern Brooklyn, and parts of Queens and the Bronx. Our mission is to connect our elder clients with outstanding companions who can improve their quality of life through social engagement, meaningful activities, and help with daily tasks that get more difficult with age. This job does not require "hands-on" care such as dressing or bathing assistance.

Our clients are retired professionals, creatives, life-long New Yorkers, and fascinating people with diverse life experiences. They would benefit greatly from a strong connection to a well-rounded companion with whom they can share their life. This is not a position where you will be "left to your own devices" to support someone. You will receive ongoing support from our staff and social work team, as well as a detailed briefing on any client you meet.

ComForCare of NYC offers a unique home care service built on caregivers who want to form meaningful connections with their clients. In addition to experienced healthcare workers, we hire artists, performers, nursing and graduate students, and individuals from other professional backgrounds who desire a rewarding "encore" or second career.
