ComForCare NYC is Hiring a Caregiver Near Manhattan, NY
- Earn very competitive compensation of $16-20 per hour, without doing any hands-on personal care or lifting (e.g. no bathing or toileting assistance)
- Once matched with a client, you will receive ongoing support and training from our professional staff; you will not be “left to your own devices”
- You will have the opportunity to receive memory care training from leading experts in the field
- We care about the individuality of our caregivers and our clients. We want to know about your interests, experiences, and passions so that we can thoughtfully match you with our clients
- Providing companionship to older adults and individuals with chronic conditions; this may include discussing current events or shared interests, or taking trips to cultural or entertainment venues
- Assisting with non-physical tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housework like folding laundry or throwing away leftover food items
- Safety supervision, standby assistance with ambulation or certain other tasks, medication reminders, adherence to care plans
- For clients with dementia, you’ll need to communicate effectively, provide mental stimulation, and/or safety supervision, as necessary
