Job Summary

Who We Are: The Dotcom Digital Experience team of Comcast Business is transforming how new and existing Small and Enterprise business customers establish and grow a long-lasting relationship with Comcast. The Comcast Business Content Strategy team collaborates closely with Sales, Product, User Experience, Marketing, Customer Communications and Development counterparts to create and deliver the customer-facing digital content, with a stellar customer experience at the forefront of every decision. As part of this, the Content Delivery team is focused on delivering best-in-class eCommerce and self-service experiences for our customers through the end-to-end journey in our Comcast Business digital properties. What We're Looking For: Copywriter, User Experience As a Copywriter on theDotcom Digital Experience team, you’ll work alongside developers and designers to create and maintain copy for products, features, offers and account management on Comcast Business digital properties, ensuring all work aligns with overarching content strategy as laid out by team leadership. You’ll manage your own projects while keeping the copy team and leadership in the loop. You’ll be responsible for creating award-winning copy of your own, while adhering to messaging guidelines and best practices for all products and developing all written elements throughout a given project.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • What You'll Do:

    • Work with various stakeholders—design, development, SEO, and marketing and communications teams, among others—to produce UX copy, internal communications, and other pieces as needed

    • Contribute to the team’s overall understanding of product and project relevance and user behavior, specifically from a narrative perspective

    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date copy files; track messaging feedback (from stakeholders and legal reviewers)

    • Produce concepts and copy that are inspired, fresh and engaging

    • Contribute to and help maintain content strategy as set out by leadership

    • Attend team meetings throughout project lifecycle and report on project status

    • Stay up-to-date with and work within developer specs and design best practices

    • Work with copywriting team to ensure cohesion and consistency of quality across all pieces

    • Specializes in content development; helps drive the support and future development for the company's public website and public digital communications channels.
    • Coordinates and contributes to the experience design with content development for external digital communications and websites for the company.
    • Assists with a variety of web and new media projects for the company, and collaborates in special projects for the company where there are additional needs for public web, new media communication and the use of the company's public website.
    • Assists in efforts to expand and enhance the digital delivery channels of the company, improving the content creation and delivery that support the mission of the company.
    • Assesses product, user research, and design requirements.
    • Analyzes relevant internal and external sites to determine best practices.
    • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
    • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
