Job Summary

Comcast is looking for an experienced UX Copywriter to join the Business Service’s Product Experience team. This position will work alongside developers and designers to create and maintain copy for products, features, offers, and account management on Comcast Business digital properties, ensuring all work aligns with the overarching content strategy as laid out by team leadership. The UX Copywriter will manage their own projects while keeping the copy team and leadership in the loop on its progress. They’ll be responsible for creating award-winning copy of their own, while adhering to messaging guidelines and best practices for all products and developing all written elements throughout a given project. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, plus possess the critical thinking skills that enable them to understand the entire end-to-end customer journey and articulate it through thoughtful, informed content. Content Management System experience a plus.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with various stakeholders—design, development, SEO, and marketing and communications teams, among others—to produce UX copy, internal communications, and other pieces as needed

  • Contribute to the team’s overall understanding of product and project relevance and user behavior, specifically from a narrative perspective

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date copy files; track messaging feedback (from stakeholders and legal reviewers)

  • Produce concepts and copy that are inspired, fresh, and engaging

  • Contribute to and help maintain content strategy as set out by leadership

  • Attend team meetings throughout project lifecycle and report on project status

  • Stay up-to-date with and work within developer specs and design best practices

  • Inherent understanding of branding, tone, and voice

  • Work with copywriting team peers to ensure cohesion and consistent quality across all pieces

  • Take a solution-oriented approach to projects and be a self-starter

  • Assess and interpret product, user research, and design requirements

  • Analyze relevant internal and external sites to determine best practices

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Understanding of data analytics

  • Demonstrated ability to create technical and creative content

  • Content Management System experience, including Sitecore, a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Generally requires 1-3 years of digital copywriting experience
