This innovative position is based in the 911 Call Center and is responsible for assessing/triaging crisis calls related to mental health and other social service needs for Columbus residents. The clinician in this position will provide support, linkage to services in the community, and follow-up with residents experiencing mental health and/or addiction crises. This position works Monday-Friday, second shift hours 4:00pm to 12:30am.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a valid State of Ohio licensure by the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), AND one (1) year of experience providing counseling services. Substitution(s): A master's degree may be substituted for the one (1) year of experience.
