What you’ll do:
The Brass Tacks
This position works across departments providing support as dictated by the current needs of the business. An average of at least 2 days a week will be doing grounds maintenance and landscaping duties, primarily focused on the property’s condominium buildings. Every Sunday will be focused on the Housekeeping department, typically on Houseman duties which involves general support of the Housekeeping and Rooms departments, and basic maintenance tasks. Other scheduled work will follow the current needs of the property, with a focus on Banquet service, Restaurant support, prep cooking and steward work.
  • Ensure the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance and repair of all department tools, equipment and safety features are in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept in a clean and orderly manner and storing all tools, equipment, and spare parts in proper location.
  • Responsible for the proper treatment and care of tools and equipment used to perform tasks.
  • Responsible to complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reports and addresses unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
The Nitty Gritty
  • Must have a general understanding of landscaping.
  • Must have knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations.
  • Must have and maintain WA State Food Handler’s and MAST certifications.
