Summary
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, this position will oil and grease equipment according to specified procedures and instructions. Perform simple preventive maintenance work, such as changing air and oil filters and inspecting chain hoists. Report machinery defects or malfunctions. Cleans machines, must be capable of driving forklift and performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Good mechanical aptitude.
2. Oil and grease machine tools according to written procedures.
3. Keep inventory of oils.
4. Drive forklift
5. Perform preventive maintenance work orders such as air filters, oil filters, hoist inspection, and way wipers.
6. Determine if other maintenance is required and fill out maintenance request.
7. Work well independently, with little supervision.
8. Make minor mechanical repairs to machine tools and fabricate shielding.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of a High School Education.
Language Skills - Ability to read and understand documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write standard documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
