Senior Civil Engineer

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute various civil engineering projects
• Managing and overseeing municipal projects related to parks, stormwater, and drainage
• Develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams
• Partner with internal project management team members by providing technical input and guidance for client conversations and multi-discipline design meetings
• Ensuring that all projects meet the necessary regulatory requirements and that all necessary permits are obtained
• Grading, drainage calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, creating roadway drainage plans, design of green infrastructure, design of roadways and intersections, design of erosion control plans
• Write technical reports and specifications
• Large-scale system planning projects using PCSWMM
• Knowledge of applicable health and safety and environmental requirements
•  site for construction observation duties
• Perform other duties as required

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Registered PE (Civil) in the state of Georgia, Alabama and/or Florida (or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Can perform critical thinking tasks accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Computer knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)

• Autodesk Civil 3D
• ArcMap or other GIS software
• SWMM based models
• Microstation/Inroads/Openroads
