JOB SUMMARY
The Head Men's Basketball Coach is responsible for maintaining a high-quality NAIA athletic program that supports student recruitment and enhances the educational experience and personal growth of the student-athletes. This position will manage the team and all aspects according to the Columbia College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Policies and Procedures. The Head Coach must conduct all activities in accordance with all state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and the College's policies and procedures. Additionally, this position must comply with all AAC and NAIA regulations while maintaining the highest ethical standards. This position works within a general outline of work to be performed and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision of the Athletic Director.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work requires the ability to move and lift 30 to 50 pounds independently and be able to perform strenuous physical labor, and the ability to exert 30 to 50 pounds of force frequently. May be required to use a ladder. Also requires frequent bending, squatting, standing, reaching, climbing, kneeling, stooping, crawling, and occasional sitting. May be required to occasionally work in small, hard to reach spaces. Work is performed both inside a facility and outdoors in all weather conditions. Some hazardous situations may exist based on work to be performed.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work environment may risk exposure to bright/dim light, dusts and pollen, extreme heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions, extreme noise levels, vibration, fumes and/or noxious odors, moving machinery, electrical shock, heights, disease/pathogens, toxic/caustic chemicals.
