Key Responsibilities:

As a Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor at our Marriott in Colorado Springs, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable first impression for our guests. Your engaging personality and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to our goal of providing guests with an unforgettable experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Helping guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience.
• Providing exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and taking sincere interest in their needs.
• Checking guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
• Resolving problems and "WOW-ing" guests through recovery when issues arise.
• Promoting and selling special hotel programs.
• Interacting with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
• Being knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
• Maintaining house bank.
• Communicating all pertinent information to the manager on duty.
• Following set procedures on posting charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
• Assisting other departments as needed.
• Keeping hotel financial records in order.
• Processing invoices, transactions, room charges, refunds, etc.
• Verifying that all accounts are balanced and supported by documentation.
• Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
• Responding to guests' needs, requests, and complaints.
• Answering the phone and making reservations.
• Summarizing each night's operations and listing any follow-up tasks for management.
• Following End of Day procedures.
