Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Prospect Management Analyst. This is the job title most commonly used in non-profit organizations, but it is very similar to a Lead Generation Specialist. As CPR is interested in speaking with candidates from various industries, we’re posting the role under both titles. So please be aware that we will likely use these titles interchangeably.
About the Position:
The Prospect Management Analyst / Lead Generation Specialist develops strategies to better track donor (fundraising) prospects in Colorado Public Radio’s donor database. You will create, manage and analyze all prospect / lead data-mining efforts in support of fundraising priorities. You will work closely with our fundraising staff in suggesting prospective donors / leads. You’ll also help develop strategies that best invites those folks in to support our mission. You’ll undertake analysis of donor giving indicators to assess for philanthropic capacity. The job frequently involves proactive research and data mining. A day may include a donor / lead portfolio review with CPR fundraising staff, doing research into another prospect and creating a briefing document, and then doing work involving identifying high level donation behaviors from recent fundraising efforts.
This is not a remote position. Our Prospect Management Analyst / Lead Generation Specialist is expected to reside in the Denver Metro area upon starting.
About You:
You’re a detective at heart, and love to synthesize large sets of data because you’re intrigued by the stories data tells. You’re a strategic thinker who looks at the world like a puzzle and wants to make sure that all pieces are in their proper place. You have strong writing and presentation skills and are excited about new technology like generative AI/Data visualization tools that can help tell a story in an interactive way.
