Colorado Public Radio is Hiring a Remote Marketing Automation Specialist

Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Pardot Marketing Analyst.

About the Position:

The Pardot Marketing Analyst is a new position at CPR that will be the subject matter expert for our Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement platform. You will maximize Pardot’s usage for the entire organization by determining how it can be optimized to help meet revenue and marketing goals. You will develop email marketing automation strategies, plan for system updates and releases, identify inefficiencies in the system and determine best practices on how Pardot is implemented and administered. You will create rules for others to follow in Pardot, provide guidance, maintain the platform on a day-to-day basis and develop a roadmap for growth.

This is not a remote position. The Pardot Analyst is expected to reside in the Denver Metro area upon starting.

About You:

You’re someone who likes to continuously improve systems. You enjoy finding clear, organized, efficient ways to meet business needs through your subject matter expertise on marketing automation. You’re an analytical thinker who likes using data to drive strategy. You’re adaptable and able to flexibly respond to changing priorities and challenges. You have strong verbal and written communication skills that have helped you successfully communicate with end users across multiple departments. You use your excellent interpersonal skills (especially curiosity, inclusivity and respect) to work well as part of a cross-functional team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a role focused on marketing campaign analysis and automation. This experience should have involved creating or maintaining best practices for using a marketing automation platform and also included -
  • Experience with developing and managing automated email campaigns with scoring and automation rules.
  • Experience with running and reporting on digital marketing programs (using pipeline metrics, lead flows and attribution).
  • Experience performing digital marketing analysis and recommending what digital engagement strategies are possible or available.
  • Knowledge of best practices for administering Pardot (including integrating Pardot and Salesforce) and familiarity with Pardot’s lead qualification process (grading and scoring).
  • While not required, it’s helpful if you have Pardot certifications and/or Salesforce certifications. Also, any knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for email and Pardot forms.

Education Equivalency:

  • While not required, a fully relevant bachelor's or master’s degree may replace a year of the minimum years of experience required.
