Colony Displayis in search of highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant / Cost Analyst with advanced Excel skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budgets, and conducting financial analysis to help our organization make informed decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical abilities, and proficiency in Excel to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively.

Responsibilities:
· Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
· Prepare detailed cost reports, including variance analysis and explanations for management review.
· Develop and maintain costing models to accurately calculate product and project costs and profitability.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for cost analysis.
· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
· Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and accounting records.
· Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required to support decision-making processes.
· Provide recommendations to optimize cost structures and improve operational efficiency.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost accounting and analysis.
· Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and physical inventories.
