COLONY BANK is Hiring a Licensed Sales Professional Near Macon, GA
Position Purpose:
Sales focused insurance agent - Leader! Self-starter! People person! This position is responsible for the growth of all things related to the selling of Property and Casualty insurance products for the Macon, Ga Banking Centers (Property and Casualty license required). HIGH POTENTIAL COMMISSION WITH NO CAP that pays commission from the first dollar of premium sold.
Location: Macon Banking Center
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Develop relationships with bank team to earn referrals.
- Quickly and efficiently work referrals and also make a minimum of 75 outbound sales calls per day.
- Must always have best interest of customer in mind when educating on coverage or any avenues of Property and Casualty insurance products.
- Continue to develop and use compliance strategies.
- Must be active in the community and constantly work key referral sources.
- Completes periodic training required and/or provided by Colony.
- Performs basic office and sales functions as needed daily.
- Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures.
Qualifications / Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Property and Casualty license required
Skills/Abilities:
- Proven track record of production in fast paced environment
- Must present a professional image.
- Well-developed planning skills.
- Ability to work independently
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and tight schedules.
- A high degree of interpersonal skills, attitude, and judgment.
Work Environment:
- Requires regular office conditions.
- Some travel to meet with clients is required.
