Crescent Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced individual to join our team at the Colonial Williamsburg Resort to fill the position of Director of Golf, to direct and oversee all aspects of Golf Operations including its activities and relationships between guests, associates, and community and ensure maximum guest / member satisfaction and financial performance.

Here is what you will be doing :

Manage the total operation of the practice facilityProvide golf instruction and clinics that are consistent with instructional methods, policies and proceduresSupervise and train golf shop personnel as directed by the Director of GolfAssist in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion and sales of Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all patronsControl and manage play;

ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination withComplete the requirements of PGA membership and maintain an active classification in

The PGA of America

Supervise and manage the total golf operations in a professional and efficient manner in

the absence of the Lead the starter merchandise

Assistant with the club repair businessConduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all timesBe informed on, and promote all facility activities and servicesManage the handicap programAssist in managing tournaments and outingsPeriodically review and update policies and procedures for the golf operationsAssist with the management of the intern, starter, and ranger programs

Qualifications we are seeking :

Bachelor’s degree (BA); or four to six years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Class A member of PGA / LPGA.
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.
