Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas and perform security checks to ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Respond promptly to incidents and take appropriate action
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by implementing effective security measures
Skills:
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security-related field is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Possession of a valid security officer certificate is highly desirable
- CPR certification is a plus
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Strong conflict management skills to deescalate tense situations
