Searching for an evening transportation driver (5pm - 10pm)

REQUIREMENTS

• Certification: Valid NE driver’s license
• Other Requirements : Cooperative and flexible; pleasant personality; ability to communicate with staff, appropriate dress and appearance.
• Must be available evenings (5pm - 10pm)

REPORTS TO: Transportation Scehduler

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To maintain and promote the safe handling of facility transportation vehicle and the safe transportation of residents, the transportation driver will:

• Obey all traffic laws.
• Maintain a clean vehicle.
• Check the vehicle for mechanical and tire defects before each operation.
• Notify the Transportation Director and/or Administrator immediately, in writing, of any vehicle mechanical defect or failure.
• Deliver passengers at authorized stops.
• Transport only authorized riders.
• Report and submit all documents relating to accidents and incidents to the proper authorities (Transportation Director, law enforcement officials, insurances representatives, school administrators, parents/guardians).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Scheduler or Administrator.
