Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dental professionals with procedures and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Perform chairside duties, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
  • Take digital x-rays and digital scans as directed by the dentist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve practice goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant experience.
  • CPR Certification, X-ray certification
  • Proficiency in dental terminology and dental coding, including HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Work Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM – because we value your work-life balance.

Physical Requirements:

Availability to attend virtual (or in-person) training sessions periodically throughout the year – because continuous learning keeps us sharp and on top of our game!
