Colonial Animal Hospital is a full service medical and surgical veterinary hospital seeking a full time, compassionate, and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician/Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Our practice philosophy is preventative health medicine which we individualize based on the animal's age and lifestyle.

Qualified applicants should be proficient in all aspects of veterinary nursing including, but not limited to: routine husbandry, client education, assisting Doctor’s in exam rooms, digital radiology, venipuncture, iv catheter placement and care, laser therapy, anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, digital dental radiology, and medication administration.

We are looking for a personable, reliable, dedicated Technician who is able to multitask and communicate effectively to join our team.

Must be a team player and willing to step in where needed, including upkeep of hospital cleanliness.

Knowledge of Cornerstone a Plus!

Full-time scheduling includes 4 full weekdays and two Saturdays per month- usually alternating. Occasional weekend and holiday treatment of hospitalized animals may be required. Full-time benefit package includes PTO, 6 paid holidays (after one year of continuous employment), uniform allowance, continuing education, veterinary services at a reduced rate, and health & dental insurance. Pay is hourly and commensurate with experience and/or credentials.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
