Laboratory Technician, Colmaric Analyticals, St. Petersburg, FL (Immediate Need)

Job Description
Colmaric Analyticals is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our exciting team in St. Petersburg, FL. The Quality Control Lab is responsible for testing raw materials and finished products samples to demonstrate that all products meet specification requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Log samples and follow up with customers for complete sample information
  • Manage retained samples
  • Electronic filing of documents as assigned
  • Physical filing of documents as assigned
  • Perform daily calibration checks on equipment where required
  • Maintain calibration logs for test equipment
  • Maintain glassware in state ready for use
  • Keep track of chemicals inventory list
  • Perform other duties as may be required or necessary
  • Perform simple lab analysis after training

Requirements

  • High School Graduate with classes in Chemistry and/or Biology and/or A.S. in a scientific field
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Must have a “Can do” attitude
