Who you are You're a dependable self-starter who s interested in managing the day-to-day security operations of one of our commercial buildings. You will learn how to operate and manage security video, C-Cure building access, fire alarm, intercom, telephone, public address system, NVR systems and two-way radio communications systems. You will also maintain the security and safety of the building by managing approved after-hours access, incident reports and being ready for emergency situations. A clear criminal history and you must pass a drug test. An ability to obtain a valid California BSIS Guard Card within 6 months Ability to stand at post for prolonged periods of time, walk patrols on regular basis, and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Be certified - or obtain certification within 6 months - in first aid, CPR and AED. What success looks like: You're proficient in the security control room and with related systems and equipment. You regularly monitor emergency broadcast messages and life safety scanner. You maintain accurate reports and logs of after-hours access, incidents and activities. You have professional and positive interactions with tenants, clients, staff and the public.
