The Information Technology Division is responsible for re-imagining how technology is used to streamline and simplify the services the Clerk’s Office provides to the citizens of Collier County. Whether it is assisting staff with hardware issues, deploying new equipment and technology, enhancing software to ensure our systems run at the optimal levels, protecting our data, or maintaining our networks and servers/cloud-based systems, the staff of the Information Technology Division plays a vital role. The Clerk’s Office is committed to utilizing innovative technology solutions to ensure the Clerk’s Office is working smarter and more efficiently with one simple goal in mind, ensure the needs of the citizens of Collier County are met.
The SAP Functional Analyst will gather business requirements, analyze business needs, and develop solutions across the SAP S/4Hana and SuccessFactors functional and technical landscape. This highly visible professional will analyze areas of efficiency/deficiency within the organization, aid in the development of technical solutions, and communicate these solutions effectively with non-technical users. The scope of this role includes testing, software/system improvements, end user guidance, analytics, and research into existing and new technologies, with a strong collaboration between management, technical staff, and end users.
Example of Duties

• Function as business advocate and technical resource to facilitate the various stages of the SAP ERP system life cycle including planning and analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and maintenance.
• Investigate existing and new data solutions for opportunities to improve business processes and assist management in the planning of long and short-term projects and goals.
• Design, configure, and test SAP ERP solutions and processes using established methodologies and tools to ensure accurate compliance with project goals and established procedures.
• Document all data solutions for management review, including updating and/or creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform required configurations and/or modifications to various SAP applications, specific modules, or SAP add-ons to meet changing business needs or as directed by law.
• Work with management and Systems personnel to plan and execute the transition of data solutions and the withdrawal of obsolete applications while ensuring the integrity of the financial data.
• Coordinate work and problem resolution with internal clients and outside vendors as required.

Qualifications for SAP Functional Analyst I

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field; any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job may be substituted for the education and experience requirement.
• Working knowledge of Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and/or Materials Management preferred.
• Proven analysis, design, and configuration.

Qualifications for SAP Functional Analyst II

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field and 2 years of experience with SAP or other ERP applications; any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job may be substituted for the education and experience requirement.
• Working knowledge of Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and/or Materials Management strongly preferred.
• Proven analysis, design, and configuration, capable of converting user needs into technical specifications.
• Experience with LSMW, Queries, Release Strategies, Workflow, ABAP required.
