College Park Physical Therapy is currently accepting applications for PRN or part-time Physical Therapy Technicians. This is a great entry-level position for anyone who has the desire to advance into the medical field! If you are a student, this is an amazing job and can be worked around the school schedule.
The purpose of the PT Tech position is to assist the Physical Therapists by keeping the clinic treatment areas orderly so the Physical Therapists can focus on patient care. PT Techs will have opportunities for learning what the Physical Therapy field is about and will learn how to assist with both administrative and personal communication skills with patients.
Job Description:
- Assist with laundry
- Assisting patients into the treatment area so they are ready to start their sessions
- Be an active listener and support both staff and patient needs
- Be a problem-solver, able to multitask and prioritize duties based on the treatment schedule.
- Be professional in manner and appearance
- Take directions and follow them as instructed
- Administrative duties, such as general paperwork, scanning, attaching, etc.
Requirements:
This position is physical in nature so the candidate must be able to lift, squat, bend and stand for long periods of time.
College Park has four locations, so the candidate must have reliable transportation as location assignments may vary based upon staffing needs.
